How it works
Ask for a price, hear back from a person within 24 hours, and pick up your car at the airport. Here is everything in between.
Booking
- Tell us your dates, who is travelling and your flight number if you have one. It takes two minutes.
- We reply within 24 hours with a price in the currency you chose. Nothing is charged until you accept it.
- You confirm with a 15% deposit, and we look after the rest.

Payment
You pay a 15% deposit when you confirm. It secures your car for the whole of your hire.
The full amount must be paid before you collect the car.
You choose your currency when you ask for a price, and your quote is in it.
Airport pickup
Airport pickup is included in every hire. All international flights land at Bandaranaike International Airport (Katunayake), and our agent meets you there.
Your agent checks your documents and either hands you the keys at the airport, or takes you to your destination and leaves the car with you there.
We track your flight. If it is delayed, our agent manages the handover for you, so your pickup is guaranteed even if you land in the early hours.
On your last day, we have drop-off locations in most major cities. We can also collect the car from your final destination, or meet you at the airport when you fly home, by agreement. Tell us what suits you when you ask for a price.
Driving licence and permit
Anyone with a valid driving licence can get a temporary Sri Lankan driving licence when they arrive. You do not need to arrange anything in the country that issued your licence. The fee and rules are set by the Department of Motor Traffic and can change: see their page.

Insurance, fuel and who can drive
Your quote states the damage excess and the security deposit, and lists what is not covered, before you commit.
Return the car with the same amount of fuel as when you collected it. Any mileage limit is stated in your quote.
Drivers must be 21 or over and hold a valid driving licence. Additional drivers are free: each one shows their licence before driving, and we keep a copy.
Adding a driver
A driver can be added on request.
The price depends on how many days you want a driver for. For the whole stay we calculate it as a full tour. Ask for it when you ask for a price.
If a vehicle fails
Call us. We arrange help or a replacement, depending on the situation.
If the breakdown was not caused by anything you did, you are not charged for the help, and we adjust your hire charge for the days you lost.
Cancellation
Cancel free up to 48 hours before collection. After that, or if you do not turn up, we charge one day's hire and refund the rest.
Changing dates after booking: ask us early; the five-day minimum still applies.
