One price for your dates, in your own currency, within 24 hours. The longer you keep the car, the lower the price per day, and airport pickup and additional drivers are always included.
Price per day
The price per day falls as the hire gets longer. Hires start from £55 a day. Every hire is for at least five days.

What a trip costs
Totals for a few common lengths of stay. The day you arrive and the day you leave both count.

Extras
- Airport pickup. Included in every hire. Our agent tracks your flight and meets you at Bandaranaike airport, even if you land late.
- Additional drivers. Free. Each one shows their licence and we keep a copy.
- A driver for you. From £35 a day, for at least 2 days. The price depends on how many days you want a driver for, and for the whole stay we calculate it as a full tour. How it works
- Excess waiver. £12 a day. Reduces your damage excess.
How you pay
- 15% deposit to confirm. It secures your car for the whole of your hire.
- The rest before you collect. The full amount is due before pickup.
- Security deposit. A refundable security deposit is held at collection.
- Damage excess. A damage excess applies and is stated in your quote.
Your quote states the excess and the security deposit before you commit. The terms have the detail.
Distance and fuel
- Distance. Unlimited, with fair use averaged over your hire.
- Fuel. Return the car with the same level of fuel as when you collected it.
Busy times of year
December and January, and July and August, are busier. Ask early for those dates. Long hire and busy seasons

Common questions
What is included in the price?
Hire of the car or van, airport pickup at Bandaranaike with flight tracking, and any number of additional drivers at no charge.
What is the minimum hire?
Five days. Hire length counts both the day you arrive and the day you leave.
Is it cheaper to hire for longer?
Yes. There are three price bands: 5 to 9 days, 10 to 20 days and 21 days or more. The price per day is lower in the longer bands.
How does the deposit work?
You pay a 15% deposit when you confirm, and it secures your car for the whole of your hire. The full amount must be paid before you collect the car.
Which currency will I pay in?
Pounds sterling, Canadian dollars, Australian dollars or euros, whichever you choose when you ask for a price. Your quote is in that currency. Your bank may add its own conversion fees.
Can I add a driver?
Yes, on request. The price depends on how many days you want a driver for, and for the whole stay we calculate it as a full tour.
Can I cancel?
Cancelling more than 48 hours before collection is free, and we refund everything you have paid.
